All Arts Frosh events will be run in accordance with official government and local authority guidance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations. In addition, we have implemented our own safety protocols to further ensure the health and safety of our participants. 

 

  1. Protection 
    • All in-person events will require participants to wear masks throughout the in-person event, except when seated and eating. This includes waiting in line, walking around in a venue, and in the washrooms. 
    • All staff will be equipped with PPE. Masks and additional PPE will be available at each location, should guests not have their own. 
  2. Physical Distancing and Crowd Control 
    • Arts Frosh will ensure that venues and lines are not crowded. Each venue is set up so participants are 1m apart for physical distancing and venues will be more scarce. This will be managed through one or more control measures such as pre-show communications to participants, a traffic system around venue floors, and on-site signage and floor markings.
    • In addition, we have reduced the Frosh group sizes and created a cohort system. The cohort system includes 6 groups per cohort, where students will only be interacting with their cohort groups. Events will be staggered by cohort to reduce the crowding at the venue and allow for proper cleaning. 
  3. Contact tracing 
    • Prior to every in-person event, participants will be required to check in online and complete a self-health evaluation. This is a requirement to enter the event. We will be keeping track of all participants that enter the event spaces for contact tracing purposes. 
    • Additionally, all participants partaking in in-person events will only partake in those events in their preassigned cohort groups, and will remain in those groups throughout in-person events. 
  4. Cleaning and hygiene 
    • We will undertake enhanced, deep cleaning before, during, and after our events, working with venue partners to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. This includes continuous sanitization throughout the course of an event, with a focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, restrooms and food, and beverage areas. With the cohort system, we will be cleaning the venues between cohorts and groups. 
    • Additionally, disinfecting stations will be located throughout the venues. Participants will be required to disinfect upon entry of each venue.  Hand sanitizing stations will be clearly marked throughout the venues to ensure people are able to disinfect their hands regularly.
